After years of working in documentary, owner and director Allison Walsh decided to take those skills and make a direct impact for clients she wanted to support.
Walsh studied cinematography and documentary ethics on sets with the legendary, Emmy-award winning production company Kartemquin Films in Chicago.
She wanted to see authentic, powerful storytelling in her community, so she built a team of women and diverse creatives and founded Aluma Media.
